The renovated Nikola Tesla Airport terminal in Belgrade lit up at night

Quick answer

The cheapest way is the free city bus 72 to Zeleni venac (about 40 minutes). The easiest is the A1 minibus to Slavija (about 400 RSD, cash) or a fixed-price taxi voucher from the desk in arrivals. In the city, ride apps CarGo and Yandex Go work; Uber and Bolt don’t.

By bus

Bus 72 runs from outside the arrivals hall to Zeleni venac in the center, about every 30 minutes, in about 40 minutes. City buses have been free since 2025. Night bus 72N goes to Republic Square. Lines 600 (to the main railway station) and 607 also serve the airport.

By A1 minibus

The paid A1 minibus runs to Slavija square via New Belgrade, every 15–30 minutes by day, for about 400 RSD paid in cash on board.

By taxi

Go to the official taxi voucher desk in the arrivals hall, tell them your address and pay a fixed price by zone (about 2,000–3,000 RSD to the center). Ignore drivers offering rides inside the terminal.

Ride apps and transfers

CarGo and Yandex Go cost roughly 1,500–2,500 RSD to the center. A pre-booked transfer is easiest with luggage or late at night.

Tip: Free bus 72 is the cheapest way into town, but it can get full and takes about 40 minutes. With bags, the A1 minibus or a taxi voucher is easier, and both need dinars.
