Why visit Fruška Gora

Fruška Gora is a long, low mountain in Srem, stretching about 80 km along the Danube between Novi Sad and the Croatian border. Its highest point, Crveni Čot, is only 539 m, but more than 80% of it is covered in forest, much of it linden. Between the trees you will find Orthodox monasteries built between the 15th and 18th centuries, family wineries, lakes, viewpoints and marked trails. It is Serbia’s oldest national park and the easiest nature escape from Novi Sad or Belgrade.
