Sport in Serbia
A small country with great sporting pride: basketball, tennis, football, water polo and the outdoors.
Sport is central to Serbian identity. A country of under 7 million has produced Novak Djoković, Nikola Jokić, three straight Olympic water polo golds and world champion volleyball teams. For visitors, that means exciting EuroLeague nights, the Eternal Derby, outdoor courts throughout the cities and easy access to mountains and rivers.
